Bungou Stray Dogs anime will have a fifth season

Following the broadcast of today's episode, the production of a fifth season for the anime adaptation of the manga written by Kafka Asagiri and illustrated by Sango Harukawa , Bungou Stray Dogs , was officially announced . The press release confirmed that the premiere is scheduled for next July in Japan , and revealed the first promotional video for this sequel:

Kafka Asagiri and Sango Harukawa began publishing the manga through Kadokawa 's Young Ace magazine in December 2012. Multiple novelizations have emerged from the franchise, but the most important medium has not ceased to be the anime adaptation, with the first season produced by BONES studios and broadcast in Spring-2016 (April-June) , followed by a second in Fall-2016 (October-December) . A film titled Bungou Stray Dogs: Dead Apple was released in March 2018, followed by a third season of the anime in Winter-2023 (January-March) . Spring-2018 (April-June) and a fourth in Spring-2018.

Bungou Stray Dogs synopsis

Having been kicked out of the orphanage and on the verge of starvation, Atsushi Nakajima meets some men. They are both members of the Armed Detective Agency that is said to be able to solve any incident, even those that the police and the army do not dare to investigate. Atsushi ends up accompanying them on a mission. In the city of Yokohama there are people who bear the names of great literary masters and who possess unusual powers linked to their name. This is the start of the battle between the mysterious powers of the Armed Detective Agency and the Port Mafia.
