In January of this year, the production of three new OVAs for the anime adaptation of the manga written and illustrated by Yukiwo , Jashin-chan Dropkick ( Dropkick On My Devil! ), was announced. Details of one of them have been announced today, which will be titled “ Jashin-chan Dropkick: Seikimatsu-hen ” and will be released next winter in Japan. The production describes this new episode as follows:
- The “Jashin-chan Dropkick” franchise has worked with Chitose City, Obihiro City, Kushiro City, Furano City, and Minamishimabara City to produce anime through the local tax system. And now he is collaborating with the City of Takamori, in Kumamoro Prefecture, to produce the project titled “Jashin-chan Dropkick: Seikimatsu-hen”.
- The Jimbocho has been left in ruins due to flying objects falling from outer space. Jashin-chan is guided by the stars to the south to defeat Yurine Hanazone, who rules a town where she only rules violence. What she found in Takamori City, at the foot of the Aso Mountains, was a village rich in nature.
The demon Jashin-chan has been summoned to Earth by Yurine Hanazono, a girl with a gift for the occult. Unfortunately, Yurine doesn't really know how to send Jashin-chan back to hell. Now stuck on Earth, she must live in Yurine's apartment as her familiar. The only way for Jashin-chan to return would be to kill her summoner, but that's easier said than done for the incompetent demon. Since Jashin-chan is immortal and can regenerate her body, Yurine doesn't stop at attacking her with a variety of weapons, punishing her in horrific ways for her evil plans. Jashin-chan is also often visited by her demon friends: the kind-hearted Gorgon Medusa and the energetic minotaur Minosu, who seem much more polite by contrast, and disapprove of her plans to kill Yurine.
