On the official site for the multimedia franchise based on the light novels written by Hajime Kamoshida and illustrated by Keji Mizoguchi , Seishun Buta Yarou Series ( Rascal Does Not Dream ), a new promotional video for the film Seishun Buta Yarou wa Dekake Shisuta no was revealed. Yume wo Minai ( Rascal Does Not Dream of a Sister Venturing Out ).
The video confirms that the premiere is scheduled for June 23 in theaters in Japan , and shows a snippet of the main theme song titled " Fukashigi no Karte " performed by Yurika Kubo , the voice of Kaede Azusagawa .
On the other hand, it should be remembered that the second film, titled Seishun Buta Yarou wa Randoseru Garu no Yume wo Minai ( Rascal Does Not Dream of a Knapsack Girl ) and centered on the character of Mai Sakurajima , still does not have a scheduled release date .
Kamoshida and Mizoguchi began publishing the light novels through Kadokawa publisher 's Dengeki Bunko imprint in April 2014. The work inspired a thirteen-episode anime adaptation produced by CloverWorks studios , under the direction of Souichi Masui and scripts . written by Masahiro Yokotani , released in October 2018; followed by a movie in June 2019.
Sinopsis of Seishun Buta Yarou wa Dekake Shisuta no Yume wo Minai
After a grueling month of December, Sakuta is fast approaching the end of his second year of high school. Since Mai is in third grade, they don't have much time together before graduation. Meanwhile, her sister, Kaede, slowly but surely ventures back into the great outdoors. Just as she begins to find her footing, she announces her most ambitious goal to date: to attend her brother's high school! Sakuta knows better than anyone how difficult this will be for Kaede, and he is willing to support her in any way he can. But he's not sure if that's what's best for her…or what he really wants…
