The idea behind “Mayushii's Slap” is based on a pivotal scene in the STEINS;GATE narrative, where the protagonist Rintaro Okabe faces the overwhelming emotional burden of trying to travel back in time to prevent a tragedy. His childhood friend, Mayushii, decides that the best way to remind him of the strength she carries within her is with a non-verbal motivation in the form of a slap. NN Drinks has captured this feeling and transformed it into an energy drink.
Although there is no actual physical impact involved, consuming the contents of the 50-milliliter bottle of “Mayushii's Slap” is sure to give you a jolt, as it contains 120 milligrams of caffeine, equivalent to three cups of black coffee.
