Romance returns with the anime A Sign of Affection

On the official site for the anime adaptation of the manga written and illustrated by Yuu Morishita , A Sign of Affection ( Yubisaki to Renren ), the first promotional video for the project was revealed. The video reveals more members of the voice cast and production team, and confirms that the premiere is scheduled for January 2024 in Japan .

The Crunchyroll platform will be in charge of its distribution in the West. For her part, Morishita began publishing the manga in the magazine Dessert from the Kodansha publishing house in July 2019. It has eight compilation volumes available so far, the ninth volume will be released on July 13, 2023.

Synopsis of A Sign of Affection

Yuki Itose is a hearing-impaired college student whose world has been shrouded in silence since her birth. She has lived in the same place her entire life and barely interacts with others, except for her best friend, Rin Fujishiro. One day, during her commute to work, she meets the silver-haired, multilingual Itsuomi Nagi, Rin's mutual friend. Unlike most of her, Itsuomi is unwavering when she learns of Yuki's disability. ; This, along with her experiences abroad, fascinates and moves her. After separating from her, her affection for him begins to grow. A new world begins to open up for Yuki and Itsuomi as they learn about each other's different lives.
