Following the broadcast of today's episode, on the official
site for the anime adaptation of Tatsuya Endo 's manga , SPY x FAMILY , a new
promotional video for the Cruise Adventure Arc was revealed ,
which will begin with the episode scheduled for next November 4 in
Japan . In the video you can also hear a new musical theme, but
there is no information about it, is it possible that the opening
sequence changes for this next arc?
On the other hand, this second season has been broadcast
since October 7 in Japan, while the Crunchyroll platform is in
charge of its distribution in the West. It should be remembered that this
franchise will also have an original film (it will not adapt any story from the
manga) titled SPY x FAMILY CODE: White , which will premiere
on December 22, 2023 in theaters in Japan.
The first season of twenty-five episodes was divided into
two parts, with the first airing in the Spring-2022 season (April-June) ,
and the second airing in the Fall-2022 season (October-December) . For
his part, Tatsuya Endo began publishing the manga through
publisher Shueisha 's
Shonen Jump Plus website in March 2019.
SPY x FAMILY Synopsis
For the agent known as “Twilight,” no order is too high
if it is for the sake of peace. Operating as Westalis' master spy,
Twilight works tirelessly to prevent extremists from sparking a war with the
neighboring country Ostania. For his latest mission, he must investigate
Ostania politician Donovan Desmond by infiltrating his son's school: the
prestigious Eden Academy. Thus, the agent faces the most difficult task of
his career: getting married, having a child and playing family.
Twilight, or “Loid Forger,” quickly adopts humble orphan
Anya to play the role of a six-year-old daughter and prospective Eden Academy
student. As a wife, she meets Yor Briar, a distracted office worker who
needs a pretend partner to impress her friends. However, Loid is not the
only one with a hidden nature. Yor is actually the deadly assassin “Thorn
Princess,” and for her, marrying Loid creates the perfect
cover. Meanwhile, Anya is not the ordinary girl she seems to be; she
is an esper, the product of secret experiments that allow her to read
minds. Although she discovers her true identities, Anya is delighted that
her new parents are cool secret agents! She would never tell them, of
course. That would ruin the fun.
