Adult visual novel NUKITASHI will have an anime

During the Nukitashi dousoukai ~anogoro wa wakakatta~ event it was announced that the adult visual novel developed by Qruppo , Nukige Mitai na Shima ni Sunderu Watashi wa Dou Surya Ii Desu ka? , will have an anime adaptation in collaboration with KADOKAWA , which will be titled NIKUTASHI: THE ANIMATION . Along with the announcement, a promotional video and image for the project were revealed. No further details were revealed, such as the animation studio, release date, nor was it confirmed whether the voice cast of the visual novel will continue their roles in the anime.

Qruppo first published the adult visual novel in June 2018 as a trial version in Japan. The full version was available in July of the same 2018 as a limited edition, and a regular version in August of the same year. An English version by publisher Shiravune was published on Steam in June 2023, with a duration of only 2 hours. Although this version is censored, there is an official patch to return it to its origins for adult audiences.

The adult visual novel NIKUTASHI has a sequel that was released in May 2019 in Japan. With more than 55 hours of gameplay and that kept the original cast. It is currently only available in Japanese.
