On the official site for the anime adaptation of the manga written and illustrated by Egumi Sora , “ The Dialect of the Girl I Fell in Love With in Okinawa is too Difficult to Deal With ( Okinawa de Suki ni Natta Ko ga Hougen Sugite Tsurasugiru )” , the project's production details and voice cast were revealed. However, the press release does not yet list a scheduled release date.

Egumi Sora began publishing the manga through publisher Shinchosha 's Kurage Bunch service in January 2020, where it is still in serialization. Although he has written other works such as “ Batsu Gal “, “ Amano-ke Yotsugo wa Ketsuekigata ga Zenin Chigau ” and “ Nipongo “, this is the first to get an anime adaptation.

Sinopsis of The Dialect of the Girl I Fell in Love With in Okinawa is too Difficult to Deal With

The story follows Teruaki Nakamura, a boy who moved from Tokyo to Okinawa, where he develops a crush on a girl named Hina Kyan. However, Teruaki faces the difficulty of understanding Hina's Okinawan dialect. Fortunately, he has the constant help of Kana Higa, Hina's friend, who is in charge of translating the dialect for him. What Teruaki doesn't know is that Kana secretly also has feelings for him, creating a fun and slightly different cultural love story on the southern island.
