During a special event for the anime adaptation of
the manga written and illustrated by Hajime Koumoto , “ Mashle: Magic and Muscles ”,
the production of a new sequel for the project was announced. It should be
noted that the statement does not indicate whether it is a third season
or a movie , so we will have to wait for more details soon.
For his part, Koumoto began publishing the manga
“ MASHLE: Magic and Muscles ” through Shueisha 's Weekly
Shonen Jump magazine in January 2020 and ended it in July 2023,
compiling the work in a total of eighteen volumes. . The anime adaptation by A-1
Pictures has twenty-four episodes to date, and since its
announcement it was stated that the intention was to adapt the entire work .
Sinopsis of Mashle: Magic and Muscles
To everyone else in their
magic-dominated world, the young, powerless Mash Vandead is a threat to the
gene pool and must be purged. Living secretly in the forest, he spends every
day training his body, building muscles strong enough to rival magic itself. However,
upon seeing his identity exposed and his peaceful life threatened, Mash begins
her journey to become a “divine seer,” a role so powerful that society will
have no choice but to accept his existence. .
Thus, to maintain his peaceful life,
Mash, without magic, enrolls in the prestigious Easton Academy of Magic,
competing with the children of some of the most powerful and elite in the
kingdom. Lacking the skill needed to survive in Easton, magic, Mash appears to
already be at a disadvantage compared to his classmates. To achieve his goals,
Mash will have to fight his way through each trial using only his fists,
overcoming magic with his muscles, all for the illustrious title of Divine
Visionary!
