As we mentioned previously, the original anime
“ Girls Band Cry
” represents a new approach for Toei Animation studios ,
who have already been producing 3DCG animation projects to supposedly explore
new horizons within the industry. Although others suspect that they
only do this to produce projects at a low cost, fortunately “Girls Band Cry”
has not been a disappointment.

“Girls Band Cry” has been airing since
April 2024 and is scheduled to have a total of 13 episodes. The
series follows the story of Nina Iseri, a 17-year-old girl who searches for her
purpose in life and faces numerous challenges when she moves to Tokyo. Her life
changes when she meets Momoka Kawaragi, a guitarist she admires, and together
they decide to form a band. As more members join the group, the girls
face both difficulties in the music industry and personal conflicts, but their
passion for music drives them to not give up on their dreams.
Well now it turns out that the series
has achieved, for the second consecutive week, the first position in the weekly
rankings of the popular Anime Trending platform. Although
this is only the result of the votes of Internet users, they are also a perfect
example of what is being seen the most this season.
Rounding out the podium are the third season of
“ KonoSuba! God's Blessing of this Wonderful World! ” and the
third season of “ Tensei Shitara Slime Datta Ken .” In fact,
up to the fifth position is full of sequels, so it really is a surprise that an
original anime dominates above all.
