A recent leak claimed that the “ Final Battle Arc ” of the anime adaptation of “ Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba ” will be adapted into three films. Recall that this arc also includes the “ Infinite Fortress Arc ” and the “ Dawn Countdown Arc ,” which consists of a total of 69 chapters of the original manga.

However, it is also important to remember that this information comes from a leak and is not officially confirmed , so we will have to wait until the end of the broadcast of the fourth season of "Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba" to see if there will be any official statement on the matter.

The third season aired during the Spring 2023 season (April-June) in Japan and featured a total of eleven episodes, while the Crunchyroll platform was in charge of its distribution in the West. On the other hand, Koyoharu Gotouge published the original manga through Shueisha 's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine between February 2016 and May 2020, compiling the work into a total of twenty-three volumes.

Synopsis General of Kimetsu no Yaiba

As night falls, he is forced to spend the night in the home of a curious man who warns him of strange creatures that roam the night: malevolent demons that crave human flesh.

When he finally arrives home, Tanjirou's worst nightmare has come true. His entire family has been brutally slaughtered, with the sole exception of his sister Nezuko, who has been turned into a flesh-eating demon. Driven by hatred and despair, Tanjirou desperately tries to stop Nezuko from attacking others, setting out on a journey to avenge his family and find a way to turn his beloved sister back into a human.
