In a surprising press release, the production of the
anime adaptation of the novels written by Motoo Nakanishi ,
“ Sword of the
Demon Hunter ( Kijin Gentoushou )”, reported
that the premiere has been postponed until 2025 due to production
problems. .
According to the statement, the anime is now
intended to have a duration of two arcs (i.e. six months of broadcast) that
will air consecutively in 2025 . More details will be announced soon
once they are decided.
It should be noted that the studio in
charge is Yokohama Animation Lab , the same one
that was recently involved in the production disaster that affected the yuri
anime “ Whisper Me a Love Song ( Sasayaku You ni Koi
wo Utau )”.
Motoo Nakanishi began
publishing the novels through the Futabasha publishing
house in Japan in June 2019, and finished it in November 2023 with a total of
fourteen volumes. The manga adaptation is by Yuu Satomi (Kekkai
no Noah, Mushihime, Yakedo Shoujo) and has been published since September 2021.
