On the official site for the anime adaptation of the
manga written and illustrated by Synecdoche , “ Plus-Sized
Elf ( Elf-san wa Yaserarenai )”, a new
promotional video for the project was revealed. The video lists that the
premiere is scheduled for July 6 in Japan , and shows a fragment of
the musical themes, which include:

AKIBA BOYZ loves Kasumi Taguchi&AiRyA from REAL AKIBA BAND performs
the opening theme titled “ Fried Pride ”, while the
group But I Want to Eat Team , made up of members of the
voice cast, performs the ending theme titled “ Minna DE Diet “.
For its part, Synecdoche began
publishing the manga through the Comic Gum digital service in
December 2016, while the publisher Wani Book is responsible
for publishing the compilation volumes. The manga was subsequently suspended
and resumed, now in the magazine Dokedomo Young Champion from
the publisher Akita
Shoten in October 2021.
