During the Anime Expo 2024 event, a new promotional
video was revealed for the third season of the anime adaptation of the light
novels “ Arifureta:
From Commonplace to World's Strongest ( Arifureta
Shokugyou de Sekai Saikyou )”. The video confirms that the premiere
has been scheduled for the month of October 2024 , and shows a
fragment of the opening theme titled “ Unending Wish ” and
performed by Void_Chords feat. MindaRyn .
The second season premiered during the Winter-2022
season (January-March) and had a total of twelve episodes (plus an OVA
on the first Blu-ray). For its part, Ryou Shirakome has
published these light novels with illustrations by Takayaki through the OVERLAP publishing
house since June 2015. The first season was produced by WHITE FOX studios
, had thirteen episodes and aired in Summer-2019 (July- September) .

Saikyou
High school student Hajime Nagumo is
bullied by his classmates for being a couple with the school idol, Kaori. When
he and the rest of the class are transported to a fantasy world, all of his
classmates receive powerful magical abilities, while Hajime only gains basic
alchemy magic to transmute solid materials, something common for blacksmiths.
During a raid on a dungeon, he is betrayed by one of his companions and thrown
to the bottom of it. Hajime survives the fall and begins creating weapons to
escape the dungeon and become stronger. Along the way, he meets the vampire
Yue, and is later joined by the rabbit-eared girl Shea, the perverted dragon
Tio, and others.
