A recent leak assured that the anime adaptation of
the manga written by Fujino Omori and illustrated by Toshi
Aoi , “ Wistoria:
Wand and Sword ( Tsue to Tsurugi no Wistoria )”, will
have a second season . Although the leak does not reveal details about
a release date, it does make it clear that it is not yet “in production,” as is
the case with other leaks.
It should be noted that this is also bad
news for “Black Clover” fans , since this project is directed by
Tatsuya Yoshihara. In fact, in a recent interview, producer Katsuki
Aoyama stated that “Wistoria: Wand and Sword” has “the best production team
ever assembled” and aims for it to be one of the best series of the
season.
Fujino Omori ,
who is also the author of the “ Dungeon ni Deai wo Motomeru no wa
Machigatteiru Darou ka? ( DanMachi: Is It Wrong to Try to Pick
Up Girls in a Dungeon? )”, the publication of the manga began through
the magazine Bessatsu Shonen Magazine from the Kodansha publisher
in December 2020, where it is still in publication.
The anime adaptation has been broadcast since July 7
and it has not yet been officially listed how many episodes it will have. In
fact, he is currently on a one-week suspension supposedly for the opening of
the Olympic Games, which will take up his television slot next week.
Synopsis of Wistoria: Wand and Sword
Will Serfort dreams of fulfilling the
promise he made to a childhood friend and becoming Magia Vander, one of the
powerful wizards who sit atop the Wizard Tower. However, he is unable to cast
the simplest of spells, forcing him to fight dungeon monsters to earn credits
at the Regarden Magic Academy. As if that were not enough, he is forced to test
his sword skills against a bully professor.
