During the Aniplex Online Fest 2024 event
, it was announced that the light novels written by Nana Ootori and
illustrated by Satsuki , “ May I Ask for One Final Thing? ( Saigo
ni Hitotsu dake Onegai shitemo Yoroshii deshou ka )”, will be getting
an anime adaptation. The press release listed the premiere as being
scheduled for sometime in 2025 in Japan , and also revealed production
details.
Nana Ootori began
publishing the light novels in July 2018 through AlphaPolis , with
illustrations by Satsuki , and ended it in November 2018 with
just two volumes. A manga adaptation by Sora Hoonoki has been
published since June 2019.
Synopsis of May I Ask for One Final Thing?
In the middle of a ball, Scarlet's fiancé Kyle
suddenly calls off their engagement. She is falsely accused of being a bully
and people unfairly call her a "villain." Aristocrats and noble
families denounce her. For years, she has had to put up with his abuse and
idiocy, but she can't take it anymore! At her wits' end, she asks him for one
last favor: a good punch in the face. Thus begins Scarlet's tale of revenge
against Kyle and his henchmen. A fantasy about a graceful and rebellious
fighter who doesn't let anyone take advantage of her.
