Synopsis of The 100 Girlfriends Who Really, Really, Really, Really, Really Love You

After graduating from high school, Rentarou Aijou manages to confess to the girl he loves. Unfortunately, he is rejected, which is his hundredth rejection in a row. After suffering one heartbreak after another, he goes to a shrine to find a partner and prays in the hopes of finally getting a girlfriend in high school. Suddenly, the god of the shrine appears and promises Rentarou that he will meet one hundred soulmates in high school. Although skeptical at first, Rentarou soon recognizes the god's words as true when two of his soulmates - Hakari Hanazono and Karane Inda - confess their love to him on the same day they meet him.

However, there's one detail the god forgot to tell Rentarou: if any of his soulmates fail to form a relationship with him, they will die. Now, caught in a matter of life or death, Rentarou decides to date all of his soulmates. With a heart big enough to share among a hundred friends, Rentarou makes the most of his unexpected high school life, and the Rentarou family grows ever larger!
