Renowned anime industry leaker SUGOI Lite has
revealed via social media that the popular “ Princess Connect! Re:Dive ” franchise
will soon be getting a new anime project. While specific
details have yet to be revealed, and there is no official confirmation from
Cygames or any other related entity, the news has generated quite a stir among
fans, who have begun to speculate about what this new installment might offer.
“Princess Connect! Re:Dive” is a franchise that
originated as a mobile role-playing video game developed by Cygames, released
in Japan in 2018 and in the West in 2021. This work is a
sequel to Princess Connect!, an original game released in 2015, and is
characterized by its immersive story, adorable characters, and high-quality
animations, elements that quickly captured the attention of players.
The game’s success led to the creation of an anime
adaptation, which debuted in spring 2020 under the production of
CygamesPictures. The first season, directed by Takaomi Kanasaki
(KonoSuba), offered a mix of comedy, action, and endearing moments that
resonated with fans of the game and a new audience.
The second season, which aired in 2022, expanded the

Synopsis of Princess Connect! Re:Dive
On the continent of Astraea, a man falls from the sky,
with no memories other than his name, Yuuki. An elf named Kokkoro finds him and
introduces herself as their guide to the world they are about to traverse. With
Kokkoro's help, Yuuki learns how this world works, from fighting monsters to
handling currency. In order to earn money for their journey, Yuuki and Kokkoro
decide to go to a nearby guild to accept a simple quest.
On their expedition, they meet Pecorine, a somewhat
gluttonous but charming girl who is skilled in battle. The next day, they also
meet Karyl, a catgirl who specializes in magic. After a while, a bond of
friendship and camaraderie forms between them, and the four decide to create a
guild of their own. As they continue their adventures, they explore the world,
meet new people, and perhaps uncover the mysteries hidden behind Yuuki's lost
memories.
