A press release from Pony Canyon listed
that the manga written and illustrated by Hiroki Miyashita ,
“ Me and the Alien MuuMuu ( Uchuujin
Muumuu ),” will be getting an anime adaptation in 2025. The release
did not list production details, but revealed that Momo Harumi and
Etsuko Kozakura will voice the protagonists Sakurako Umeyashiki and MuuMuu ,
respectively.

For his part, Hiroki Miyashita published
the manga as a one-shot through Shonengahosha 's Young
King Ours magazine in April 2019, and began serialization two months
later. The author has participated in other works such as “Ninkyou Tensei:
Isekai no Yakuza Hime”, “Kettou Saiban”, “Ryuuma no Gagou”, and “Seigi Keikan
Monju”, to name a few.
Synopsis of Me and the Alien MuuMuu
MuuMuu, a cat-like alien from a distant galaxy,
arrives on Earth. His goal is to learn about the technology of home appliances
on Earth in order to recover the technology his species has lost. The
protagonist, Sakurako, has a typical college life, but everything changes when
MuuMuu arrives! What begins as an unexpected cohabitation quickly turns into a
whirlwind of chaotic events. The chemistry between Sakurako and MuuMuu leads to
a super-spectacular comedic adventure, full of home appliances and cats.
