Secrets of the Silent Witch celebrates its premiere with its opening without credits

The long-awaited anime adaptation of Secrets of the Silent Witch finally premiered on July 5, and to celebrate its arrival on the screen, an uncredited version of its opening was released. This magical sequence is accompanied by the song "Feel", performed by the band Hitsujibungaku.



A silent sorceress on a secret mission


Based on the light novels by Matsuri Isora and illustrated by Nanna Fujimi, the story follows Monica Everett, one of the Seven Wise Men of the wizarding world. Although extremely shy, Monica masters magic without the need for enchantments, an unprecedented power. His quiet life changes when he receives an order from the king: to infiltrate an elite school to covertly protect the second prince.


A magical team behind the anime


The series is directed by Yasou Iwamoto at Studio Gokumi, with Takaomi Kanasaki as chief director and in charge of the series composition and scripts. The character design is in charge of Cona Nitanda and the music is by Rina Tayama.

The anime is part of the summer season and is available through Crunchyroll in simulcast. In addition, Yen Press publishes both the light novels and their manga adaptation – illustrated by Tobi Tani – in English.


With a mix of fantasy, school intrigue, and unconventional magicSecrets of the Silent Witch promises to be one of the most enchanting titles of the season. And its opening without credits already leaves an excellent first impression!
