During Anime
Expo 2025, Netflix and Warner Bros. Japan unveiled
a new trailer for Record of Ragnarok III, the third season of
the intense anime based on the Shūmatsu no Walküre manga,
by Shinya Umemura, Azychika, and Takumi Fukui. The big surprise was
the confirmation of the premiere for December 2025, in the middle
of the Japanese winter and in time to close the year with epic fights.
A
renewed team for a new stage
This new
installment will have important changes in the production team. The direction
will be in charge of Koichi Hatsumi (Tokyo Revengers)
under the Yumeta Company studios × Maru Animation. The script will
be written by Yasuyuki Mutō (Mobile Suit Gundam Hathaway),
while the character designs will be in the hands of Yōko Tanabe (Handyman
Saitō in Another World) and Hisashi Kawashima (Pretty
Rhythm Aurora Dream). For his part, Yasuharu Takanashi will
return as a music composer.
The
Decisive Battle for Humanity
The third
season will continue with the one-on-one duels between gods
and humans for the survival of the world. As described by Warner Bros.
Japan, the seventh battle is approaching, which will serve to break the
3-3 tie between the two sides. A final fight full of tension, blood
and conviction is about to begin.
