The 10th Anniversary Memorial Fest! Overlap
Bunko All-Star Gathering Special Night Dream Fest special event held
this Sunday at Tokyo's TFT Hall 1000 announced that the Skeleton Knight in Another World ( Gaikotsu
Kishi-sama, Tadaima Isekai e Odekakechuu ) anime is getting a second
season. Additionally, a promotional image was
revealed as a preview.

To commemorate this announcement, both KeG ,
the original character designer of the light novels, and Akira Sawano ,
author of the manga adaptation, shared special illustrations.

The light novel series written by Ennki Hakari
began in October 2014 on Overlap's Shōsetsuka ni Narō platform .
The first volume was published by Overlap in June 2015, with illustrations
by KeG , and has released 10 volumes as of March 2022. The
manga adaptation, illustrated by Akira Sawano , debuted on
Overlap's Comic Gardo site in February 2017 and has
13 volumes published to date.
Synopsis of Skeleton Knight in Another World
One day, a gamer fell asleep while playing a game, and
upon awakening, he found himself inside the game world… as a skeleton! Armed
with his avatar’s powerful weapons and armor, but trapped with a terrifying
appearance, Arc must find his place in this fantastical land. His dream of a
quiet life is shattered when he crosses paths with a beautiful elf warrior,
drawing him into a journey filled with conflict and adventure.
