During the panel for the “ SPY x FAMILY ” franchise at
the Jump Festa 2025 event , it was announced that the
third season of the anime will premiere in the Fall 2025 period
(October-December) , confirming the leak from a few days ago. The
announcement included a special illustration made by designer Kazuaki
Shimada .
At the same event, more details were also revealed
about the franchise's next musical , which will be presented
in Japan during 2025 through different entertainment centers. The play will
once again feature actors Win Morisaki and Genki Hirakata as
Loid Forger, and Fuka Yuduki and Sora Kazuki as Yor Forger,
but new auditions will be held to choose the new Anya Forger.
For his part, Tatsuya Endo began
publishing the manga through Shueisha ’s Shonen
Jump Plus service in March 2019. A twenty-five-episode anime
adaptation aired in Spring 2022 (April-June) and Fall
2022 (October-December) , followed by a twelve-episode second season
in Fall 2023. A feature-length film with an original story
followed in December 2023, titled “ SPY x FAMILY CODE: WHITE “.
SPY x FAMILY Synopsis
For the agent known as “Twilight,” no order is too
tall if it’s for the sake of peace. Operating as Westalis’ master spy, Twilight
works tirelessly to prevent extremists from sparking a war with neighboring
Ostania. For her
latest mission, she must investigate Ostanian politician Donovan Desmond by
infiltrating his son’s school: the prestigious Eden Academy. Thus, the agent
faces the most difficult task of her career: getting married, having a child,
and playing family.
Twilight,
or “Loid Forger,” quickly adopts the humble orphan Anya to play the role of a
six-year-old daughter and prospective Eden Academy student. As a wife, she
meets Yor Briar, an absent-minded office worker who needs a pretend partner to
impress her friends. However, Loid isn’t the only one with a hidden nature. Yor
is actually the lethal assassin “Thorn Princess,” and for her, marrying Loid
creates the perfect cover. Meanwhile, Anya isn’t the ordinary girl she appears
to be; she’s an Esper, the product of secret experiments that allow her to read
minds. Though she discovers their true identities, Anya is thrilled that her
new parents are both cool secret agents! She’d never tell them, of course. That
would ruin the fun.
