An accidental leak may have revealed the European release date for “ Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – Infinity Castle ” . According to a post by @WSJ_manga on Twitter, a German movie theater chain, CineStar, included an official listing stating that the film will be released in Germany on September 25, 2025. Although the working title is listed as “Untitled Sony / Crunchyroll / Aniplex Event Film,” the description confirms that it is indeed Infinity Castle, the next film in the hit franchise.

The accidental listing lacked a cover image but did offer a detailed description: “ Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – Infinity Castle is the long-awaited film that continues the story of the popular anime. This feature-length film adapts the thrilling final arc of Koyoharu Gotouge’s manga: the Infinity Castle Arc. The plot picks up as Tanjiro Kamado and the Hashira face off against the Upper Moons. The focus is on the battle against Muzan Kibutsuji, the first demon of all, who has taken refuge in the eerie dimension of Infinity Castle, a constantly changing landscape where the strongest Demon Slayers must give their all to save humanity from annihilation .”

“Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – Infinity Castle” will adapt the final arc of Koyoharu Gotouge’s manga, meaning it will focus on the ultimate battles between the Demon Slayers and Muzan Kibutsuji. This arc is known for its intense narrative and impressive action scenes, which has raised expectations among fans. The film will bring together Tanjiro, Nezuko, Zenitsu, Inosuke, and the powerful Hashira, who will have to face the strongest demons in a chaotic and ever-changing scenario.

The film will be released globally by Crunchyroll and Sony Pictures Entertainment, though a specific release date for territories outside of Germany has not yet been confirmed. Earlier this year, the president of Aniplex, the production company behind Demon Slayer, expressed confidence that Infinity Castle will surpass the earnings of “Mugen Train,” which grossed $457 million at the global box office.

Since its premiere, “Demon Slayer” has become one of the most successful franchises in anime history. Its combination of high-quality animation, a moving story, and spectacular battles have won over audiences of all ages. The “Mugen Train” movie broke records by becoming the highest-grossing anime feature film of all time, and the anticipation for Infinity Castle is no less.

Fans around the world are eagerly awaiting any official announcements regarding the release dates in their countries, while in Japan and other Asian territories an overwhelming reception is already anticipated. This final arc promises to close the story in epic fashion, generating even more excitement to see how the final battle against Muzan will unfold.
