The
release also listed that those who attend the first week of screenings will
receive a novel written by the franchise’s author, Natsume Akatsuki , titled “Fuyu Shogun Returns
(Winter Shogun Returns).” Although no details were revealed, it is known that
these types of stories are completely original and unpublished, and quickly
become highly sought-after material for the most die-hard fans.
As
previously reported, this OVA will feature two episodes, which are described as
follows:
- Redstream Explosion!: While Kazuma and his
companions are having dinner at the guild, Luna, a receptionist, brings
them a request. They need Megumin’s explosion spell to deal with a typhoon
approaching Axel City. Yunyun and Wiz also decide to participate, and the
adventurers’ morale soars! On the day of the decisive battle, Kazuma sees
the adventurers preparing for battle, and is shocked to find that
everyone…
- Nisemono Chuui!: A winter day. While
Kazuma was enjoying a grilled skewer at a food stall in Axel City, he was
approached by an adventurer. The man said that he was looking for an
adventurer named “Kazuma Sato.” In exchange for dinner, Kazuma told them
the legend of “Kazuma Sato,” which moved the man and his party of three
female adventurers to tears…
For its
part, Natsume Akatsuki began publishing the light novels with
illustrations by Kurone Mishima in October 2013, through the
publisher Kadokawa , and ended it in May 2020
with a total of seventeen volumes. In addition to the manga adaptation, the
anime adaptation has to date a total of three seasons totaling 31 episodes and
was produced by Studio Deen and Studio Drive .
Synopsis

After
suffering a ridiculous and pathetic death on his way back from buying a game,
high school student and recluse Kazuma Satou finds himself sitting before a
beautiful but unpleasant goddess named Aqua. She provides the NEET with two
choices: continue on to heaven or be reincarnated into every gamer’s dream: a
real fantasy world! Choosing to start a new life, Kazuma is quickly tasked with
defeating a Demon King who is terrorizing villages.
But
before he leaves, he can choose an item of any kind to aid him in his quest,
