A press release listed that the manga written and
illustrated by Kuzushiro , “ A Mangaka's Weirdly Wonderful
Workplace ( Egao no Taenai
Shokuba desu. ),” is getting an anime adaptation. The release listed
production details and the voice cast, and confirmed that the anime is
scheduled to premiere in the fall 2025 (October-December) period in Japan.
For his part, Kuzushiro began
publishing the manga as a one-shot through Kodansha 's Kiss magazine
in February 2019, and then began serializing it on the same
publisher's Comic Days service in May 2019. He previously published
other works that were also adapted into anime, such as “ Tsugumomo “,
“ Inugami-san to Nekoyama-san “, and “ Amayo no Tsuki “.
