Through a
press release, publisher Earth Star Entertainment reported
that Touya 's light novels , " A Tale of the Secret Saint ( Tensei shita Daiseijo wa,
Seijo de Aru Koto wo Hitakakusu )", will be getting an anime
adaptation. The release did not reveal production details, but did include the
voice cast, which includes:
- Shion Wakayama as Fia Ruud.
- Shinnosuke
Tokudome as Zavilia
- Yuichiro
Umehara as Saviz Nav.
- Nobunaga Shimazaki as Cyril Sutherland.

For his
part, Touya began publishing the novels through the
independent service Shousetsuka ni Narou in January 2019,
while the publisher Earth Star Entertainment has published
them in paperback with chibi illustrations since June 2019. A
manga adaptation by Mahito Aobe has been published through
the Comic Earth Star service since November 2019.
Synopsis
of A Tale of the Secret Saint
Fia has
always dreamed of becoming a knight. Born into a family of knights, she has the
least talent, but she still clings to her hope and trains with everything she
has. When the day comes to slay a small demon and prove her worth, she finds
herself face to face with a dragon. A fatal wound causes her life to flash
before her eyes… and she suddenly remembers her previous life, when she was a
powerful saint from a bygone era who defeated the Demon King. That life ended
in pain for who she was, making her afraid of becoming a saint again. Now that
the magic from her previous life has been rekindled, she can become a knight
more powerful than she ever dreamed… if she survives long enough!
