The highly anticipated upcoming
video game in the " Mahou Shoujo Madoka Magica " franchise , titled
" Madoka Magica Magia Exedra ," has been announced
for a March 27 release on iOS and Android devices. The release
included a special promotional video revealing several iconic characters from
the franchise, including Homura Akemi and Iroha Tamaki, and culminating with
the highly anticipated appearance of Madoka Kaname.
In
addition, it was reported that pre-registration has surpassed 800 thousand
people, thus unlocking special rewards for when the video game is finally
released. As part of the celebration, the production has released
various exclusive wallpapers of the franchise, and a new promotional video has
been presented focusing on Felicia Matsuki, a character voiced by Ayane Sakura.
Additionally,
FictionJunction will perform the main theme song titled "Lighthouse feat.
LINO LEIA," a group that is also the personal project of composer Yuki
Kajiura, who also composed the soundtrack for "Mahou Shoujo Madoka
Magica." It was also announced that during AnimeJapan 2025, the
opening sequence of the video game, produced by SHAFT studios, will be
revealed, in addition to exclusive merchandise, exhibitions, and gifts for
attendees.
