A press
release listed that Nekoko and Naji Yanagida 's
light novels , " Reincarnated as a Dragon Hatchling ( Tensei
shitara Dragon no Tamago datta: Ibara no Dragon Road )", are
getting an anime adaptation. The statement did not list production
details or a scheduled premiere date , but did list the main voice
cast, which includes:
- Shunichi
Toki as Ilusia.
- Ami Koshimizu as Divine Voice.
- Miku
Itou as Myria.
More
information about the project will be revealed at AnimeJapan 2025 on
March 22nd during the Hakuhodo DY Music & Pictures panel.
Nekoko began publishing the novels through the independent service Shousetsuka
ni Narou in August 2015, with the latest update in November 2023,
while Taibundo Publishing has been publishing them in print
with illustrations by Naji Yanagida since December 2015. A
manga adaptation by RIO has been published through Comic
Earth Star magazine since May 2017.

Our hero
wakes up one day in a whole new world... but his new life doesn't come with
fighting skills or magical powers, or even arms and legs! He's reborn as a
helpless egg, trapped in an unfamiliar forest surrounded by terrifying, hungry
beasts. But eggs hatch, hatchlings grow, and humble beginnings can lead to
