A new
promotional image for the project was revealed on the official website for the
anime adaptation of Firehead 's light novels ,
" A Wild Last Boss Appeared! ( Yasei no Last Boss
ga Arawareta! )". The release listed the premiere as being
slated for Fall-2025 (October-December) , as well as five new voice
cast members, including:

Shutou as Aries.
- Hisako
Toujou as Libra.
- Naoya
Uchida as Aigokeros.
- Mika
Kanai as Parthenos.
- Kokoro
Omori as Virgo.
Firehead began publishing the story
through the independent service Shousetsuka ni Narou in 2015,
and ended it in 2017. Earth Star Entertainment subsequently began
publishing it in print in February 2016 with illustrations by YahaKo ,
ending it in April 2019 with a total of nine volumes. A manga adaptation
by Tsubasa Hazuki has been published through the Comic
Earth Star service since 2017, and is currently still in
serialization.

Ruphas
Mafahl, the black-winged lady and leader of the Twelve Stars of Heaven, has
been defeated. A man awakens in the body of Ruphas, a character from the game
Exgate, two hundred years after his defeat at the hands of the seven heroes.
The game world Exgate he knew is no longer ruled by humans, and it is no longer
just a game. Exgate is a world of its own where the characters think, feel, and
live just as he does. Ruphas travels through Exgate in search of the long-lost
Twelve Stars of Heaven. Ruphas finds himself without a homeland, an army, or
allies. One question remains: what is the true reason an ordinary man was
reincarnated in Exgate as Ruphas?
