Through the
franchise's official Twitter account, it was announced that the anime
" The Idolmaster Million Live! " will have a new OVA
episode. Director Shinya Watada will return to direct this new episode
at Shirogumi Studios , while Yoichi Kato will
once again be in charge of the scripts.
On the
other hand, "The Idolmaster Million Live!" is a multimedia
franchise derived from "The Idolmaster", which began with a video
game of the same name. The series follows a new group of idols who
work alongside each other at the 765 Production agency with a producer at the
765 Live Theater. The original game is an "idol performance
simulation" type, developed and distributed by Bandai Namco Entertainment
in February 2013 , for the Android and iOS platforms. A rhythm game
was later released in June 2017, and an anime adaptation in Fall 2023
(October-December) , consisting of twelve episodes.
