On the
official site for the anime adaptation of Yasuhisa Hara 's
manga , " Kingdom ", the production of a
sixth season of the project was announced. This new installment is
scheduled to premiere in the period Fall-2025 (October-December) ,
will show the beginning of the fight between Qin and Zhao, and Xin will take
Wang Yi's spear to launch into the battlefield, marking a key moment in the
development of the central conflict of the story.

- The first anime adaptation
premiered in 2012, followed by a second season in 2013. The third season
premiered in April 2020, but was suspended after four episodes due to
COVID-19, and resumed airing from the first episode in April 2021. The
fourth season premiered in April 2022 on NHK General, with simulcast by
Crunchyroll. The fifth season of the Kingdom anime premiered in
January 2024 and had a total of 13 episodes.
- The record-breaking manga began
serialization in Shueisha's Weekly Young Jump magazine in 2006. The series has
also inspired four live-action films.
- Yasuhisa Hara's historical
manga follows Xin, a young slave who dreams of becoming a great general of
the state of Qin. Alongside Ying Zheng, the young king of Qin who also seeks to
unify China, Xin strives to rise to the top and lead an army capable of
defeating the Seven Warring States.
