On the
official site for " Hana-Doll*: Reinterpretation of Flowering
", the upcoming anime in MOVIC 's " Hana Doll* " franchise ,
the project's main promotional video has been revealed. The video confirms
that the premiere is scheduled for April 9 in Japan , and
shows a snippet of the theme songs, which include:
- Idol group Anthos will
perform the opening theme song " Clockwork Flowers "
as well as the ending theme song " Fall Leaves After Leaves
Fall ".
This
project will adapt the "first season" of the CD Drama series, titled
" Flowering ". The franchise is currently in its
third season, and a manga adaptation titled " Hana-Doll * ~
Flowering ~ Boys were still in a dream " has been serialized
through Kodansha 's Shonen Magazine Edge service
since November 2020.
Synopsis

The
"Hana Ningyou Project" (Flower Doll Project) is a secret initiative
that seeks to artificially create the "perfect idol" through a
mysterious process: the implantation of a special flower seed into the human
body. This seed, when it blossoms, transforms the bearer both physically and
emotionally, elevating their talent, charisma, and stage presence to levels
unattainable through natural means. The story centers on a group of young
people who volunteer—or are selected for unknown reasons—to participate in this
risky experiment.
Each of
them must sacrifice part of their humanity to achieve the ideal of perfection
imposed by the project, facing a difficult process of both physical and
psychological transformation. Along the way, these kids struggle
with their own dreams, insecurities, and personal relationships while facing
the pressure to become "perfect idols" created by humans. How far are
they willing to go to achieve stardom? And what does it really mean to
be perfect?
