The anime
adaptation of Yuji Iwahara 's dark fantasy manga Clevatess has
released a third visual as part of its promotional campaign.
The illustration features the thirteen heroes of the story as
they make their final preparations to face the dreaded Demon
King .
The scene
takes place in a rocky and desolate landscape, where several heroes are
seen checking their weapons and armor before a confrontation
that will define the fate of humanity. This visual is part of a series
illustrating the events leading up to the beginning of the anime's main story.
A
production that combines experience and talent
Kiyotaka
Taguchi is directing the anime at Lay-duce Studio , with Keigo Koyanagi in
charge of story composition. Soichiro Sako is designing the
characters, and Nobuaki Nobusawa is composing the soundtrack,
promising an intense visual and emotional experience.
The series
will begin airing in July 2025 on Japanese channels such
as TOKYO MX , Sun TV , KBS Kyoto ,
and BS NTV , among others.
An
unexpected twist in the fight against evil
The story
follows the Demon King Clevatess , who is pursued by thirteen
brave heroes, including Alice , a young girl with dreams of
becoming a hero. However, after attempting to assassinate the Demon King, the
heroes discover an unexpected truth: the only way to save humanity may
be to entrust a human baby to Clevatess himself.
The
original Clevatess manga is
being published digitally by Line Digital Frontier and in
print by Media Factory . With this new image, fans have a
sneak peek at the dramatic and morally complex tone that will characterize this
story when it finally hits screens.
