The
production team of Dr. Stone: Science Future, the fourth and final season of
the Dr. Stone anime, revealed this Wednesday the addition of two new characters
for the second part of the series.
Actress
Megumi Han joins the cast as Chelsea, while Reigo Yamaguchi will play Leonard.
Both characters will be part of the new events that will unfold in the next
season of the series.
Release
Date and Theme Songs Confirmed
The second
part of Dr. Stone: Science Future will premiere on July 10 in Japan. For this
new season, the band KANA-BOON will perform the opening theme song
"SUPERNOVA," while the artist -otoha- will perform the new ending
theme song "No Man's World."
Remember
that this final season is airing in three cours with breaks in between and is
available on multiple streaming platforms in Japan such as ABEMA, Amazon Prime
Video, Disney+, and DMM TV.

A franchise
with a global history
Since its
debut in July 2019, Dr. Stone has become one of the most popular series of
recent years. Its second season, Dr. Stone: Stone Wars, premiered in January
2021, followed by the one-hour special Dr. Stone: Ryusui in July 2022.
The third
season, Dr. Stone: New World, premiered in April 2023, concluding in December
of the same year with a total of 22 episodes.
The series
is an adaptation of the original manga by Boichi and Riichirou Inagaki,
published in Weekly Shonen Jump magazine from March 2017 to March 2022. Both
Viz Media and MANGA Plus distributed the manga in digital and physical formats.
The end is
approaching, but the excitement continues to build in this thrilling farewell
to the world of Dr. Stone.
