The great idol union arrives this autumn

The film is scheduled to be released in theaters in Japan on October 10, 2025, as previously confirmed along with a new promotional visual. The film promises a colorful and nostalgic spectacle for fans of both franchises.

Both series have a long history within the idol genre: Aikatsu! began airing in September 2012, while Pripara debuted in July 2014. With multiple sequels, spin-offs and spin-offs, they continue to be benchmarks for idol entertainment aimed at young audiences.

A team full of experience in the idol universe

The film collaboration is directed by Takahiro Okawa, who previously worked on Aikatsu Friends! and Aikatsu on Parade!. The screenplay was written by Michihiro Tsuchiya, under the production of the Bandai Namco Pictures studio.

In addition, Ryuichi Kimura (director of Aikatsu!) and Makoto Moriwaki (director of Pripara) serve as supervisors of the project, ensuring fidelity to the spirit of both franchises.

The idol dream merges on the big screen

The story of Idol Time Pripara follows Yui, a girl who dreams of becoming an idol despite feeling impossible. Their fate changes when the PriPara theme park opens in their city and an idol named Laala arrives from Parajuku. Although a flaw in the system prevents Laala from transforming, the idol world does not stop shining for the new generations.

Aikatsu! x Pripara THE MOVIE -Deai no Kiseki!- promises to be an unmissable event for fans of both series, full of music, nostalgia and unforgettable encounters.
