Dekin no Mogura presents their musical themes with cool videos

After its recent premiere in Japan, the anime Dekin no Mogura: The Earthbound Mole has already begun to make its mark on the music scene. Just two weeks after their debut, the music videos for their opening theme and closing theme have been released on their respective artists' official YouTube channels.


Syudou brings a powerful opening to life



The renowned singer and songwriter syudou, famous for his work in anime such as TSUKIMICHI -Moonlight Fantasy-Chainsaw Man and Magilumiere Co. Ltd., is in charge of the opening theme titled "Kamidanomi" (translated as "Trusting in God").


The track was released digitally on July 18 and its music video can now be enjoyed online. In addition, an uncredited version of the opening was also released directly from the anime, which has generated great excitement among fans.


Sheeno Mirin and Aile The Shota collaborate on a melodic ending



The anime's closing theme is titled "Kenso (ft. Aile The Shota)" and was produced by Sheeno Mirin, a Japanese artist specializing in vocaloid songs. This is his third musical work in anime after his participation in I'm the Villainess, So I'm Taming the Final Boss (2022) and Demon Lord 2099 (2024).


The collaboration with singer-songwriter Aile The Shota gives a distinctive tone to the track, which was released on July 15 and also features its own uncredited music video and ending theme.


What is Dekin no Mogura about?


The anime, based on the manga by Natsumi Eguchi, had its premiere in Japan on July 7, 2025. It is currently available on Crunchyroll for users in Europe, America, Africa, Oceania, the Middle East, India, and Southeast Asia. Crunchyroll describes the story like this:


A mysterious self-proclaimed hermit named Momoyuki Mogura has been cast out of the afterlife. He now collects wandering souls in his lantern in hopes of redeeming himself. However, those who cross his path begin to see strange things. Thus begins a supernatural comedy in which the living and spirits coexist in the present.


With an unusual story and a powerful musical proposal, Dekin no Mogura promises to consolidate itself as one of the surprises of this season.
