This
Thursday, the team behind the Disney Twisted-Wonderland The Animation anime
revealed 23 new cast members who join this ambitious
adaptation. In addition, images of the opening of the series were shared,
generating even more expectations among fans.
A luxury
cast for every bedroom
The series,
inspired by the popular mobile video game, will feature prominent seiyuus who
will bring to life the characters from the different dorms at Night
Raven College:
- Savanaclaw: Yūichirō Umehara (Leona
Kingscholar), Taito Ban (Jack Howl), Aoi Ichikawa (Ruggie Bucchi).
- Octavinelle: Atsushi Tamaru (Blue
Ashengrotto), Wataru Komada (Jade Leech), Nobuhiko Okamoto (Floyd Leech).
- Scarabia: Kazuki

An exclusive premiere on Disney+ in October
The series
will premiere in October 2025, exclusively on Disney+,
and will be divided into three seasons that will adapt the
main arcs of the manga based on the original game: Episode of
Heartslabyul, Episode of Savanaclaw and Episode of
Octavinelle.
The
story of a twisted and magical world
The
protagonist, Yūken Enma (voiced by Yōhei Azakami), is a high
school student and member of the kendo club. During a full moon night, a
mysterious carriage transports him to the alternate world of
Twisted-Wonderland. There, without any explanation, he is involved in the
entrance ceremony of the Night Raven College wizarding
academy, where he will begin his adventure surrounded by cool but troublesome
students.

Production team, soundtrack and story
Takahiro
Natori (Aria
the Benedizione, Tokyo Mew Mew New) is leading the project as lead director and
script supervisor, while Shin Katagai (The Ossan Newbie
Adventurer) is directing with Yumeta Company and Graphinica.
The main screenplay is by Yoichi Kato (Space Brothers,
Aikatsu!).
Hanaka
Nakano and Akane
Satō are in charge of character design. As for the music, Takumi
Ozawa — the game's composer — reprises his role in the animated
series. The opening theme, "Piece of my world," will
be performed by the group Night Ravens.
The game
and the anime share a premise where the protagonist, without having a clear
path back home, must adapt to an academy full of young people with
magical abilities and intense personalities. Under the tutelage of an
enigmatic masked director, Yūken will seek his purpose in a world where magic
meets darkness.
