The TO
BE HERO X series continues to expand its universe with the premiere of
a music video focused on Ghostblade, the cold and enigmatic
assassin whose personality hides an unexpected complexity. The song,
titled "Because of you," marks a key moment for the
character within the current story arc.
An
emotional song for a lethal character
"Because
of you" is the result of a collaboration between composer Hideyuki
Fukusawa (Fate/stay night [Unlimited Blade Works]) and
Japanese-American singer-songwriter Kris Roche, who also performs
the song. The video, now available on official platforms, offers a more
intimate look at the psychology of Ghostblade, who has proven to be much more
than just an emotionless killer.
A high-caliber musical production
TO BE
HERO X has an
animated prduction by BeDream and direction by Li
Haolin (Link Click). Its outstanding soundtrack includes names
such as Hiroyuki Sawano (Attack on Titan), KOHTA
YAMAMOTO, Hidefumi Kenmochi, DAIKI (AWSM.), Shuhei
Mutsuki, Misaki Umase and Ryuichi Takada (MONACA),
in addition to the aforementioned Fukusawa.
What is
TO BE HERO X about and where to watch it?
The story
is set in a world where heroes derive their power from the value that
the audience places in them. If they lose people's trust, they also lose
their skills. Every two years, the top-rated heroes participate in a tournament
to gauge and renew their confidence levels, which determines their rank and
standing among others.
The series
is available through Crunchyroll, which also offers the previous
installments: TO BE HERO and TO BE HEROINE. The
premiere of the Ghostblade music video marks a new narrative and musical
milestone for this franchise that combines action, satire and emotion.
