The anime
adaptation of Wandance, Coffee's popular manga, is
gearing up for its October 2025 premiere with a vibrant new
trailer. The trailer highlights a portion of the extensive soundtrack and
features the dance cast members, whose movements were captured
with motion capture technology.
The trailer
shows the talented dancers KAITA (Kaboku), KANATA (Hikari), ReiNA (On), YOUTEE (Iori),
and YU-KI (Gaku), who bring the characters to life through
real choreography. One of the standout songs in the trailer is "Get
Something Out of Your Mind," produced by Yaffle.
A
soundtrack full of artists
The series
will feature more than 30 music tracks composed by renowned
artists such as Yujin Aramaki, Alisa, Black Boboi, FUNI, GZO,
Jazztronik, Seann Bowe, URU, Scatman John, Shinichi Osawa, and many
more. The music production is in charge of Naoki "naotyu-"
Chiba.
A story
that begins with a single step
Kaboku
Kotani has
just started high school and plans to go unnoticed, as he always has,
especially because of his stutter. But everything changes when he sees Hikari
Wanda dance with a freedom that takes his breath away. Inspired by
her, Kaboku makes an unexpected decision: he joins the dance club.
Thus begins her journey to discover who she really is and what it means to move
without fear.
A
high-level technical team
The
animation is in the hands of the MADHOUSE and CYCLONE
GRAPHICS studios, with Michiya Kato (visual effects
supervisor on Bubble) as director. The production of the
choreographies will be in charge of the renowned K-Pop choreographer RIEHATA.
The rest of the technical team will be revealed soon.
Wandance has been published since 2019
in the magazine Monthly Afternoon and currently has 13
compilation volumes. Kodansha USA distributes the official
English version.
With a
unique fusion of music, dance and self-improvement, Wandance promises
to become one of the most refreshing proposals of autumn 2025.
