History of popularity and its challenges

Chitose Is in the Ramune Bottle revolves around Saku Chitose, the most popular student in his high school. His life seems perfect: he has attractive friends, an impeccable reputation and the ability to overcome any conflict, even attacks on social networks. However, everything changes when a teacher asks him to help a classmate who has been isolated in his room for months. What at first seemed like a typical high school romantic comedy, soon becomes a story that explores social pressure, empathy and the contrasts between different ways of life.

About its international availability

Yen Press publishes both the light novel and the manga in English, bringing the story to a global audience. With its upcoming debut in October 2025, the adaptation promises to capture the attention of romantic comedy fans looking for a fresh take within the school genre.
