The
upcoming Potion TV anime, Waga Mi wo Tasukeru (whose title
translates to "Potions Save My Life") has confirmed its two main
protagonists. Voice actress Kaede Hondo, best known for her role as
Sakura Minamoto in ZOMBIE LAND SAGA, will play Kaede, a
high school student who is summoned to a world completely different from her
own.

Kaede Hondo
shared that the character has a large number of lines and monologues, which was
a challenge during the recording, but she also stressed that the rhythm of the
play makes it enjoyable and easy to enjoy. "I hope many people enjoy this
work. Thank you for your support!" he commented.
Meanwhile,
Takeo Otsuka (Teruaki
Nakamura in OKITSURA) will voice Asuru, a dragon
hunter. The actor pointed out that Kaede's evolution, acquiring skills in the
style of an RPG video game, is one of the most attractive points of the plot.
"I will do my best to play Asuru in this captivating story. Look forward
to its broadcast!" he declared.
Production
and premiere team
The series
is part of Animation ID's Light Anime line and
will premiere in October 2025. Mikiko Furukawa (Moriarty's
Perfect Crime) will direct the project, with Yuichi Imaizumi as
sound director. The music will be provided by bermei.inazawa, while
the animation production will be a collaboration between Imagica Infos and Imageworks
Studio.
Brief
