Viz
Media has
added to its catalog the manga "Dealing with Mikadono Sisters Is a
Breeze" (original title: Mikadono-san Shimai wa Angai
Choroi), written by Aya Hirakawa. The announcement was made
last Tuesday, confirming that the publisher will publish the chapters
simultaneously with their release in Japan.
This new
simulpub is also being distributed in English through the emaqi service,
belonging to the localization company Orange Inc.. Currently, the
first two volumes are available for free for a limited time.
A
parallel launch without major differences
The version
published on the Viz Media website and app does not present significant
differences with respect to the emaqi edition. However, in the first chapter
the note appears: "Translation and lettering provided by
Shogakukan", which has aroused some curiosity. Anime News
Network tried to contact Viz Media to clarify details, but so far has
not received a response.
What is
this story about?
The story
revolves around Yū Ayase, son of Subaru Ayase, a woman
admired for her beauty, sporting talent, and intelligence. Although Yū only
seems to have inherited his good looks, his life takes a turn when he is
admitted to an elite school.
From that
moment on, she moves to the house of a friend of her mother, where she begins
to live with the three Mikadono sisters: brilliant girls, outstanding in
different areas, but with vulnerabilities that make them more human than they
seem.
Manga
with anime on air
Aya
Hirakawa began
publishing this work in Shogakukan's Weekly Shonen Sunday magazine
in December 2021. The 15th compilation volume went on sale on July 4.
The manga
also has an anime adaptation, which premiered in Japan on July 9 through Tokyo
MX, Tochigi TV, Gunma TV, and BS11, in addition to the
MBS network. Crunchyroll simulcasts the series
with Spanish subtitles and English dubbing, allowing international
fans to follow the story in real time.
