perform the new opening theme titled "Carmine." This
will become the anime's 28th opening, replacing GRe4N
BOYZ's "Tenshi to Akuma."
Release
date and release in digital media
The theme
will debut alongside episode 1139 of the anime, which will air
in Japan on Saturday, August 10, 2025. In addition, it will be
available on digital platforms that same day at 4:45 p.m. (Spanish
peninsular time), just after the broadcast of the episode.
A
collaboration awaited by fans and musicians
"Carmine"
marks ELLEGARDEN's first participation in an anime, a milestone in
the group's career. The band, formed in 1998 in Chiba Prefecture, consists
of Takeshi Hosomi (vocals and guitar), Shinichi
Ubukata (guitar), Yuichi Takada (bass) and Hiroki
Takahashi (drums). Throughout their career they have released six
maxi-singles and six studio albums.
According

be fans of One Piece for a long time, which makes this
collaboration even more special for them and the anime fan community.
The
official One Piece YouTube channel has already begun streaming
a promotional video featuring snippets of "Carmine,"
allowing fans to get a first glimpse of the pace that will accompany the new
adventures of Luffy and his crew.
