During
the Gamescom 2025 event, it was revealed that FromSoftware's hit
video game, Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice, will feature an anime
adaptation. The project will be titled Sekiro: No Defeat and
its premiere is scheduled for 2026. The Crunchyroll platform
will stream the series exclusively worldwide, with the exception of Japan,
China, Korea, Russia and Belarus.
An
ambitious project with a great creative team
The anime
will be directed by Kenichi Kutsuna at the animation
studio Qzil.la. In the words of the director himself, the
production seeks to capture the beauty and intensity of the original title,
with a visual proposal that leaves a mark on both fans of the game and those
who approach its world for the first time.
