Jojo's
Bizarre Adventure continues
to expand its legacy with the confirmation that Steel Ball Run, its
seventh part, will premiere exclusively on Netflix. The information
was collected by Sugoi LITE, and although there is still no confirmed release
date, it is expected to arrive in the second half of 2026 or even in
2027.
Netflix's
Big Bet
This move
means that Steel Ball Run will not be available on Crunchyroll
or other platforms, something that is already generating debate among fans. For
Netflix, it is another step in its strategy to strengthen its anime catalog
with titles of great international weight.
David
Production returns to the front
Studio
David Production,
responsible for all previous adaptations of Jojo's Bizarre Adventure,
will continue to lead the project. Fans can expect the same animation quality
and signature style that has made the franchise a benchmark for modern anime.
What is
Steel Ball Run about?
The story
takes us to a parallel universe in the United States in 1890, where we
follow Gyro Zeppeli and Johnny Joestar. Both
embark on the legendary Steel Ball Run, an extreme cross-country
course with a million-dollar prize at stake. As usual in Jojo, the plot will be
loaded with strategic battles, unique powers, and extravagant moments.
