A long-awaited return

The first season of Let This Grieving Soul Retire! left viewers wanting more, thanks to its peculiar mix of comedy and fantasy around the protagonist who was looking for a quiet retirement, but ended up dragged into much bigger situations than he imagined. With the second season, the story promises to expand the dynamics between the characters and delve into the strategies for the development of their particular "party".

Details of the original work

The anime adapts the Tsukikage light novels with illustrations by Chyko, a saga that has earned a place within Japanese light fantasy thanks to its lighthearted tone and unexpected twists. The announcement of this second season reinforces the good reception that the first adaptation had, as well as the public's interest in continuing with the story.
