The
official site of The Invisible Man and His Soon-to-Be Wife, based
on Iwatobineko's manga, revealed its first full promotional
video. The announcement also confirmed new cast members, part of the staff, the
musical themes and, incidentally, bittersweet news: the premiere date changes
from 2025 to January 2026.
Songs
The opening
will be performed by Mao Abe with the song "Ding-dong", while
the ending will be provided by Kaori Ishihara with the
song "Hoshimegane" (Star Glasses). Both artists seek
to convey the mixture of mystery and tenderness that characterizes the work.
New characters confirmed
- Riho Sugiyama as Luna Jarashi, a
beastwoman investigator specializing in protection and heavy work within
the Tounome agency.
- Masaya Fukunishi as Daichi Kikira, a human
investigator from the same office, in charge of gathering clues and data.
A
premiere that is long awaited
The project
was scheduled to debut in 2025, but those responsible decided to move its
release to January 2026 in order to polish the production. Although the delay
generates impatience, the new trailer allows fans to get an idea of what's to
come.
