The anime
Uma Musume: Cinderella Gray, based on the manga by Taiyo Kuzumi and
part of the Uma Musume Pretty Derby franchise, presented
a new promotional video in which the opening theme of its
second part is confirmed. The song will be titled Spurt Syndromer and
will be performed by the rock band 10-FEET.
The
announcement also included a main visual for the arc and
confirmation of the premiere date: the second part of the anime will debut
on October 5.
About
the manga and the franchise
The Uma
Musume: Cinderella Gray manga began publishing in Weekly Young
Jump in June 2020. To date, Shueisha has released 21
compilation volumes, the last one published on September 19, 2025. The work
went on hiatus on June 5 to prepare for its final arc and returned on July 17.
The story has Oguri Cap as its protagonist.
The Uma
Musume franchise has three seasons of television anime, the Uma
Musume Pretty Derby: Road to the Top project, the Umayon spin-off,
and the Uma Musume Pretty Derby: Beginning of a New Era, released
in May 2024. In addition, the original video game released in 2021 continues to
be one of the pillars of the brand.
