Dragonball prepare a new celebration to commemorate its 40th anniversary with the event Dragon Ball Genkidamatsuri, which will take place on January 25, 2026 in the enclosure Makuhari Messe from Chiba Prefecture. The activity will be free to access, although only by invitation, and will bring together all the projects of the franchise: manga, anime, video games and collectible figures.
He Genkidamatsuri it will serve as the official closing of the celebrations for the four decades of the work created by Akira Toriyama. During the event they will perform new developments related to the future of the saga, in addition to segments dedicated to video games, cards, figures and official products.

The main stage will feature the participation of Masako Nozawa (goku's voice in Dragonball) and Akio Iyoku (executive producer of the franchise), who will appear in the sections “Shinten-kai Super Announcement! Genkida Stage Part 1” and “Part 2”. Both will share unpublished information about upcoming projects in the Dragon Ball universe.
The event will also include a special concert titled Genkidamatsuri Special Live Stage, in which the singer Hironobu Kageyama he will perform iconic songs such as CHA-LA HEAD-CHA-LA and other representative songs of the anime. In addition, attendees will be able to purchase exclusive products and limited merchandise from the event.
